Morristown-Hamblen EMS Paramedic Todd E. Giles was among eight first responders honored during Tuesday69制片厂制作传媒檚 2024 69制片厂制作传媒淭hree Stars of Tennessee Award69制片厂制作传媒 ceremony held in Nashville.
Gov. Bill Lee and Sixth District State Sen. Becky Duncan Massey (R-Knoxville) joined Department of Safety and 69制片厂制作传媒land Security Commissioner Jeff Long and Deputy Commissioner of 69制片厂制作传媒land Security Greg Mays to honor and remember these first responders who died or suffered a career-ending injury in the line of duty.

The 69制片厂制作传媒淭hree Stars of Tennessee Award69制片厂制作传媒 was created in 2014 by the Tennessee General Assembly (TCA 4-1-501). Following the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, Senator Massey spearheaded the effort to develop a special statewide recognition for public servants who, in the line of duty, were killed or suffered a career-ending injury.
