Long and Bruce paired a white wine, Sauvignon Blanc, with a whipped goat cheese with lingonberry jam and olive oil roasted walnuts.

They paired a red wine, a high-altitude Malbec, with grilled pork tenderloin crostini with Gouda pimento cheese and green bell pepper.

Bruce instructed those in attendance to take a sip to get over any taste 69制片厂制作传媒渟hock,69制片厂制作传媒� take another sip, take a bite of the prepared food and finish with a final sip of wine to let the flavors work with each other.

She said she can advise on dinners and host tastings, one of which is a monthly affair at the Lilypad.

She said most people find a wine they like and stop looking, but there is a whole world of flavor waiting to be uncovered.

Bruce said one of the fun things she can do is host corporate training exercises around wine tasting.

One of the misconceptions people have about sommeliers and wine professionals is that they are an extension of a hobby or not very serious. Bruce described the billions of dollars of capital involved in the wine and full service restaurant industries.

While pairing wine with food is a primary focus, but she said she69制片厂制作传媒檚 trained to pair wine with fashion, jewelry, art and 69制片厂制作传媒減airing wine with music.69制片厂制作传媒�

Pairing wine with music is a current point of study for Bruce and she is traveling to Tuscany, Italy in November.

Bruce has focused some of her studies in the Tuscany region of Italy and is leading a tasting exploration for a group travel event in May of 2025.
