Florence Johns, age 91, of Russellville,聽 passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at her daughter's residence.
She was a beloved member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church for over 70 years. Florence was a homemaker who took pride in her family and especially her grand and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Mack and Mattie Wilder; husband: James Leland Johns; daughter and son-in-law: Cathy and Frank Southerland; brothers and sisters-in-law: Hubert (Mildred) Wilder, Ray Wilder and Jimmy ( Shelby) Wilder and her sister: Susan Long.
Florence is survived by her daughter: Shirley (Jeff) Wilson; grandchildren: Kevin Southerland, Cheri (Charles) Moore, Keith Wilson and Keaira (Jacob) Witten and 9 great grandchildren. Sister: Maxine Baskette and sisters-in-law: Louise Majors and June Wilder. Brother-in-law: Chuck Long.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral 69制片厂制作传媒, funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Lance Cunningham officiating. Family and friends will gather in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM for the committal service, burial in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
