Neither team shot the ball well with both shooting 36 percent from the floor. The difference was the Lady Trojans got off 59 shots to just 36 for the Lady Huskies.

The Lady Trojans hit 5 of 15 three-point attempts while North Greene was 8 of 21. West had a 31-23 rebounding margin as Weddington raked off eight stray shots. Simpson added seven and Mitchell six.

Miller pulled down 11 stray shots for the Lady Huskies.

Blevins hit two three69制片厂制作传媒檚 in the first quarter and the Lady Huskies grabbed an 11-9 lead at the first rest stop.

North Greene then scored the first six points of the second stanza for their biggest lead at 17-9.

But the Lady Trojans got a jumper from Weddington and Kalyca Dinkins pumped in a triple. Weddington hit another trey and Bohanon got a rebound and scored and West was in front 19-17 with 1:19 left in the half.

However, Blevins sandwiched a pair of three69制片厂制作传媒檚 around a rebound basket by Mitchell and the Lady Huskies took a 23-21 lead into the dressing room at intermission.

Weddington scored the first five of the second half before Miller69制片厂制作传媒檚 two charity tosses tied it at 25. Messer made a basket to put West back up and Kara Dyke knocked down a three.

But North Greene ran off an 8-2 spurt to take the upper hand again. Messer nailed a three at the buzzer to give West a 35-33 advantage going into the final eight minutes.

Miller scored inside and Cadie McDevitt made a triple and the Lady Huskies led 38-35 with 7:17 left in the game. Mitchell hit a free throw and then a basket to knot the score and Weddington69制片厂制作传媒檚 old-fashioned three-point play put the Lady Trojans back in front.

Blevins fired in a three to tie it and Kaydence Marshall hit a trey for her only basket of the game and North Greene led 44-43.

Simpson and Bohanon then scored and West led the rest of the way.
