GREENEVILLE -- Cocke County split its first two games in the Andrew Johnson Bank Ladies Classic.
The Lady Red suffered a heart breaking 74-72 overtime loss to Oak Ridge on Friday before coming back with a hard-earned 63-60 win over David Crockett on Saturday afternoon.

Oak Ridge 74, Cocke County 72
Ayana Porter banked in a basket just before the buzzer in overtime to provide the winning points.
The Lady Wildcats improved to 14-1 with the victory before losing to Marist on Saturday.
Oak Ridge led 15-5 after one quarter and was on top 28-22 at intermission. The margin was still the same (46-40) going into the final stanza.
The Wildcats led by seven when Blakelyn Clevenger hit back-to-back threes and Brooklyn Clevenger hit another with less than five seconds left to force the extra session at 62-62.
After ties at 64, 67 and 69 the Lady Wildcats took the lead on free throws. However, Ava Wheeler nailed a trey to tie it again and set the stage for Porter to bank in the game-winner.
Porter gunned in 28 to lead Oak Ridge. Evalya Mitchell scored 13 and Ze69制片厂制作传媒橸ana Stewart and Lindsey Cleveland had 10 each.
Karmine Carmichael and Blakelyn Clevenger scored 20 each for the Lady Red and Brooklyn Clevenger had 13.
Oak Ridge shot 50 percent from the floor and pumped in 14 of 18 free throws. The Lady Red connected on just 10 of 18 at the foul line in the loss while hitting.28 of 48 from the floor for 56 percent.
Carmichael had seven rebounds as the losers had a 21-17 backboard advantage.
Cocke County 63, David Crockett 60
Cocke County trailed by 10 in the third quarter before battling back for the victory in the battle of Class 3-A powers in the consolation brackett.
Blakelyn Clevenger knocked down a three-pointer to put the Lady Red in front 61-60 with 1:05 left in the game. The Lady Pioneers came down the floor and missed and Carmichael rebounded for the winners.
Brooklyn Clevenger was then fouled with 18 seconds remaining and calmly gunned in both free throws for the final margin. Crockett came down and missed a contested three at the end.
Carmichael fired in 20 points and raked off 16 rebounds to lead the Lady Red. Blakelyn Clevenger added 17 and Wheeler 11.
The Lady Pioneers got off to a quick start powered by Brylee Tullock who finished with 21 points and led 22-10 after one quarter.
Cocke County got going offensively in the second quarter but still trailed by 39-29 at halftime.
It was 49-40 after three before the Lady Red outscored Crockett 23-11 in the final frame.
The winners hit 24 of 50 from the floor for 48 percent including 8 of 24 behind the arc. Crockett finished at 44 percent on 21 of 48.
With Carmichael leading the way, Cocke County had a 29-21 rebounding edge.
Crockett fell to 14-2 for the season after falling to Marist, 60-53, on Friday night for its first loss. Kate Harpring, rated the number two prospect in the nation in the class of 2026 poured in 45 points in that game.
