Jefferson County took an early 1-0 lead and never lead again until there were 41 seconds left on the clock. Those final 41 seconds were all that mattered.

69制片厂制作传媒淚t was a tough one,69制片厂制作传媒 head coach Kyle Briggs said. 69制片厂制作传媒淲e knew it wasn't gonna be easy. They're, they're a dadgum good basketball team. We shot ourselves in the foot several times throughout that game. They went on some runs and made us pay for it. But I thought our boys did a really good job of when those happened, putting their foot down and saying, 69制片厂制作传媒楬ey, let's stop it at a six or 7-0 run, rather than a 16 to 18-0 run that we can't come back from. So, I was very proud in the fact that they were able to turn it around on themselves.69制片厂制作传媒
The Patriots actually had to complete two comebacks. After trailing 23-6 in the second quarter, they were able to make it a 37-34 game near the end of the third. However, the Smoky Bears ended the quarter on an 8-0 run to go up by 11.

69制片厂制作传媒淲e talked to the boys at half that we didn't have to reinvent anything we had,69制片厂制作传媒 Briggs said. 69制片厂制作传媒淲e felt we had a solid game plan coming into the game, and we missed several free throws and layups that we thought we'd executed well enough. We just got to make them. sometimes all the boys one time out, sometimes players just have to make plays. There's only so much you can do on X's and O's. And I thought in the second half, they just kept trusting what we were trying to do, and they just went and finished it.69制片厂制作传媒
69制片厂制作传媒淭hey went on several runs. It could have been very easy for our kids to lay down when we cut it to three and they took it back up to 11. But I thought they did a good job of understanding that there's not an 11-point play in basketball. We did a good job of just chipping away and making things tough on them, and then coming down and executing.69制片厂制作传媒
Kip Parker led the comeback effort with 23 points 69制片厂制作传媒 all of which came in the final three quarters including 16 in the second half. Brody Carr also added 15.
69制片厂制作传媒淚 thought in the second half (Kip) stopped forcing so much,69制片厂制作传媒 Briggs said. 69制片厂制作传媒淚 felt in the first half that he was trying to go one-on-one and make that 11 point play. I tried to tell him and Brody that our offense runs through you all a lot, and you're going to get opportunities. You don't need to force it. So, he was trying to force it and kind of do it on his own. I thought in the second half when he got going, he trusted his teammates. And his teammates found him, and he found his teammates, and that69制片厂制作传媒檚 the way we have it designed. It's not a one man show. And I thought they did a good job trusting each other.69制片厂制作传媒

69制片厂制作传媒淚t means a lot,69制片厂制作传媒 Briggs said. 69制片厂制作传媒淵ou can only preach so much about doing the right thing without seeing results. We69制片厂制作传媒檝e seen a little bit of success, but we haven't seen success against a team of that caliber69制片厂制作传媒 It's easy for us coaches to say, 69制片厂制作传媒楬ey, this is the right way to do it,69制片厂制作传媒 and then them come in and practice it day in and day out and not see results. So it's really important for the kids to see that doing things the right way pays off in the long run.69制片厂制作传媒
