NCDOT: I-40 expected to partially reopen in spring

As work continues to repair the section of I-40 destroyed by the flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Helene, the North Carolina Department of Transportation is offering an update that the road could be partially open by spring.

69制片厂制作传媒淲e are targeting the road reopening this spring when engineers deem it safe, but this will not be 69制片厂制作传媒榝ully69制片厂制作传媒� open to its pre-Helene state 69制片厂制作传媒� it will be one lane in each direction with a curb median to separate the 40 mph traffic,69制片厂制作传媒� NCDOT said in a statement.
