Santa and Hamblen County SROs Deputy Chelsea Brown, Sgt. Andrea Moore and Deputy Samuel Swatzell recruited some help from Sheriff Chad Mullins and Sgt. Dustin Jordan to load toys into a cruiser. The toys, donated by the students from East and West High, were delivered by the SROs and Santa to the East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
As Christmas break arrives, the Hamblen County SROs have wrapped up their in-school duties but, according to Hamblen County Sheriff Chad Mullins their love and dedication to children never takes a break.
Under the supervision of West High SROs Sgt. Andrea Moore and Deputy Samuel Swatzell, a toy drive was coordinated again this year at both East High and West High.
The results of the toy drive were delivered on Friday afternoon to the East Tennessee Children69制片厂制作传媒檚 Hospital.
According to Swatzell, the kids at East and West really stepped up with this year69制片厂制作传媒檚 toy drive.

Mullins commended the SROs for implementing the toy drive for a second year.

In order to make sure the toys were delivered properly, an expert on toys, Santa himself, volunteered his time to assist the SROs with packing the vehicles and making the delivery to Knoxville.
Instead of driving his sleigh, Santa drove a vehicle belonging to East High SRO Deputy Brandon Ferrell.
