Long before Hamblen County Mayor Chris Cutshaw was walking the halls of the Hamblen County Courthouse, he was lacing up boots and donning a hard hat to work as a lineman for Morristown Utilities.
Having spent some of his earned leave time as he started his role as the county69制片厂制作传媒檚 chief executive, Cutshaw officially retired from the utility company, effective December 2.

Cutshaw began his career with MU on June 4, 1984; he retires after 40 years and 6 months of dedicated service.
The Morristown Utililties Commission issued a resolution at their December 5 meeting that recognized Cutshaw and his service.
He started out as a meter reader and has served as Lead Electrician, Lineman Apprentice and retired as Journeyman Lead Lineman.
69制片厂制作传媒淐hris has served the Commission with honor, dignity, dedication and loyalty, makin invaluable contributions to tboth the Commission and the community it serves,69制片厂制作传媒 the resolution reads.
Brian Delozier, power system manager for MU, said Cutshaw69制片厂制作传媒檚 time with the company and the way he performed indicate he will be successful in his new government role.
69制片厂制作传媒淐hris has been a hard worker and dedicated leader at Morristown Utilities, always demonstrating a strong commitment to our community,69制片厂制作传媒 Delozier said. 69制片厂制作传媒淔or over 39 years, he served the Lakeway Area as a Lineman, building relationships and providing an essential service to our residents. His knowledge, experience, and leadership roles at MU have prepared him well for the responsibilities of chief county official. It has been a privilege to work alongside Chris throughout his career at MU, and we have no doubt he will continue to serve Hamblen County with integrity and excellence.69制片厂制作传媒
