MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A woman died and two other people were injured after a crash early Friday morning in northeast Memphis, police said.
Memphis Police (MPD) said officers responded just after midnight Friday to a two-vehicle wreck at National Street and Rockwood Avenue. There, they found three people were injured.
A woman was rushed to Regional One Health, where she died, police said.
Two men were also taken to the hospital, where one of them was listed in critical condition; the other man was expected to be OK, MPD said.
In their investigation, police found that one of the vehicles failed to yield while traveling west on Rockwood Avenue before crashing into the other car, which headed south on National Street.
