Years ago, Huntsman had a desire to start a new venture after helping start Cornerstone Academy, but he wasn69制片厂制作传媒檛 sure what direction he should move.

69制片厂制作传媒淔inally I said, Lord, you got to open a door,69制片厂制作传媒� he said. 69制片厂制作传媒淚 choose prosthetics, it chose me. An opportunity that opened up and I knew nothing about it. And I said, 69制片厂制作传媒榊ou know what? Let's start a company.69制片厂制作传媒� Today, we have 10 clinics: four in North Carolina, five in East Tennessee, one in Kentucky. And it's really built on all of the incredible staff that we have and the incredible patients that we have the great honor of serving.69制片厂制作传媒�

Bobby Haun, a retired teacher and current Hamblen County Commission Chair, is now an amputee advocate for Southern Orthocare, but his first experience with the company was as a patient.

69制片厂制作传媒淚f we have a patient that's going to lose a limb, Bobby will go just talk to them and just encourage them,69制片厂制作传媒� Huntsman said.

Haun said his experience was a challenge, but Southern helped him push through.

69制片厂制作传媒淕od tested me in 2019,69制片厂制作传媒� he said. 69制片厂制作传媒淎fter a two-week stay in the hospital in 2019, in January, trying to get my foot to heal, a surgeon came to me about six o'clock in the evening and gave me the bad news that I would lose my lower leg and obviously the foot that went with it.69制片厂制作传媒�

A natural tension in the room gave way as Haun gave the gathered supporters a humorous one-liner.

69制片厂制作传媒淚 was 60 years old at the time, and if you've ever been in that position, it's like having your leg chopped off69制片厂制作传媒�69制片厂制作传媒�

A collective chuckle escaped from the group and Haun continued.

69制片厂制作传媒淚 thought it was over with; I literally thought my life was over with, and about two weeks after that, I went back for a follow-up. The doctor said, 69制片厂制作传媒榃ell, you're ready to go see about getting a prosthetic.69制片厂制作传媒�

Haun walked months before he thought he would and said the care he received is a testimony to the dedication and care of the staff at Southern Orthopedic and one of the reasons he can so easily advocate for the company.
