The United Way of Hamblen County reported good news at Thursday69制片厂制作传媒檚 Report Luncheon, raising $790,041, or 57% of its goal of $185,000.

The Pacesetter group of International Paper, Rogers Petroleum and Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System has exceeded its goal by raising $213,849, or 116% of its $185,000 goal.

Business I exceeded its $25,000 goal by raising 28,325, or 113%. Business III companies has raised $28,675, or 82% of its $35,000 goal. The Special Gifts division has raised $132,395, or 79% of its $172,000 goal while the Leadership Giving raised $480,174, or 78% of the goal of $612,000.

The F.I.R.E. division has collected $84,413, or 67% of its $126,000 goal. Business II and Professional have each raised 65% of their goals. Professional has raised $26,135 of its $37,000 goal while Business II has collected $21,500 of its $33,000 goal.

Medical II has raised $21,000 or 55% of its goal of $38,000. Major Firms II has collected $83,284, or 42% of its goal of its $198,000. Large Firms has raised $26,500, or 40% of its $66,000 goal.

Rounding out the totals, Major Firms II has raised $43,500, or 34% of its goal of $128,000; 26% has been collected by the Government/Education division, or $10,970 with a goal of $42,000; Major Firms I have raised $ 40,000, of their $195,000 goal or 21%; Major Firms IV has collected $15,000, or 21 percent of their goal of $70,000.

There have been 15 presentations by United Way Loaned Executives, or 23%. The goal is to reach 65 presentations during the 2024 campaign.

Justin Cook took a minute to remember the Hurricane Helene devastation in the Lakeway Area, especially with those counties without supplies.
