The United Way of Hamblen County is full speed ahead in its 2024 campaign, raising so far $1,057,619, or 77% of their $1,375,000 goal.

Campaign Chair Carl Storms talked about the first report luncheon being days after the effects of Hurricane Helena were felt in Hamblen County and neighboring counties with the fact that cases of water were out of supply, as well as other essentials.

Leading the way for the luncheon, Business III announced that they had exceeded its $35,000 goal. As of Thursday, the division raised $35,670, or 102%. Large Firms has collected 98% of its $66,000 goal, raising $64,927. The Professional division has collected $33,835, or 91%, of its $37,000 goal.
Special gifts raised $149,120, 87% of its $172,000 goal; Leadership giving is at 85% of their goal of $612,000, raising $519,443; Medical I has $20,200 in pledges, 81% of the $25,000 goal.
Business II has raised $25,500, or 77% of its $33,000 goal; The F.I.R.E. division has collected $90,277 of its $126,000 goal, or 72%; Major Firms III has raised $131,482, or 66% of its goal of $198,000; Major Firms II has pledges totaling $78,467, which is 61% of its $128,000 goal.
Government and Education, as well as Medical II, have both raised 58% of their respective goals. Government and Education has collected $24,456 of its $42K goal while Medical II has raised $22,000 of its $38K goal. Major Firms I has 54% of its $195,000 goal, collecting $106,000. Finally, Major Firms IV has accounted for 43% of its $70,000 goal, raising $30,000.
The pacesetter companies of Rogers Petroleum, International Paper and Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System has already exceeded its goal of $185,000. In addition, the division collected $3,511 to bring its total to $217,360, or 117%. Business I raised $28,325, which was previously announced as113% of its $25K goal.
There have been 35 Loaned Executive presentations, 54% of the United Way69制片厂制作传媒檚 goal for 65 presentations. Those companies needing a Loaned Executive to present to their place of business should call the United Way.
The third and final report luncheon will be held at noon, Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Senior Citizens Center.
