Ronald Keith Myers, age 75 passed away Tuesday, October 22, peacefully surrounded by his family at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. He accepted Christ at the age of 27 at Community Chapel Church. He was a member of Dry Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He announced his call to preach in August of 1988. He was an Army Veteran and loved working with wood. He owned Myers Construction for many years.
He was a loving husband to his late wife of 55 years Joyce who passed 8 months prior. He is proceeded in death by his parents Cass and Inez Myers. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Angie (Mike) Holt of Bean Station. Granddaughters Katrina (Derrick) Dalton and Kaitlin (Dylan) Wynn all of Rutledge. Great Grandson Holton Wynn and soon to be Great Granddaughter JociAnn. Brothers Doug (Jan) Myers and Terry Myers. Several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Stubblefield funeral home. The receiving of friends will be Friday, October 25th 6 - 8 p.m. funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Hamblen Memory Gardens at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 26.
Rev. Johnny Meyers and Rev. Keith Sanderfur will hold the services. The Pallbearers will be Fred Myers, Ben Myers, Tony Dalton, Chris Hayes, Stanley Carpenter, and Trevor Collins.
