It69制片厂制作传媒檚 a tale of two dogs, really.
There69制片厂制作传媒檚 Reggie, who was brought into the Morristown-Hamblen Humane Society in need of serious TLC. His condition was such that he was sent to the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he spent a month getting all the care he needed.
69制片厂制作传媒淭he tests came back and he is 100% good boy and ready for a home,69制片厂制作传媒 the shelter reported in a recent social media post.
The vet school provides spay and neuter services to unowned shelter and rescue animals as part of its veterinary medical training program and as an outreach effort to the Appalachian area.
In addition, many local rescues and shelters, including MH Humane Society, have partnered with LMU to provide the homeless animals the necessary medical care to move them on to adoption into forever homes. These partnerships, according to information provided by LMU, will help teach students the value of high quality medical care as well as the importance of working with the community to save lives.
Then there69制片厂制作传媒檚 Jordan.
69制片厂制作传媒淗e has had nothing but a hard time since he came to us last weekend,69制片厂制作传媒 the shelter posted on Wednesday morning.
He was very sick and staff noted that he just felt miserable 69制片厂制作传媒 evident by that fact that he stayed in the corner of a shelter kennel, refusing to get up on his feet. A checkup by a local veterinarian determined that Jordan69制片厂制作传媒檚 liver was in bad shape, with the possibility that he had ingested a toxic substance.
With the medical care, Jordan is becoming more mobile and it is now being observed by shelter staff that he has a limp and will need to additional vet care.
69制片厂制作传媒淭his boy has been through the wringer trying to survive and we want to do everything we can for him. Multiple extensive vet appointments are very costly,69制片厂制作传媒 shelter staff said in a post that requested donations to support Jordan69制片厂制作传媒檚 continuing care.
In the case of both Reggie and Jordan, their stay at the shelter has required food and supplies.
On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., staff, supporters and volunteers of the shelter will hold a drive-thru Stock the Shelves collection event.
With the theme, 69制片厂制作传媒淗owl for the Shelter,69制片厂制作传媒 supporters hope to fill the shelter69制片厂制作传媒檚 two pantries with items needed to continue its efforts to care for cats and dogs that are currently without homes.
