A wintry mix could cause slippery roads and risky travel on Wednesday morning across East Tennessee as the next storm front rolls through.
The National Weather Service in Morristown is calling for the precipitation to begin overnight on Tuesday and continue through Wednesday.

Forecasts show temperatures will start to drop through to Thursday, which will see a predicted high of 26 degrees and a low of 12 degrees.
While freezing conditions have the potential to disrupt travel, the accumulation of snow is not expected to be great; much of the Lakeway Area has around 50% chance to see more than an inch of snow.
The uncertainty around this weather event remains high and the NWS urges residents to stay current on weather forecasts as the system approaches.
Following the low temperatures on Thursday, daytime temperatures will inch up above freezing going into the weekend with sunny conditions expected on Saturday and Sunday.
