The past year has brought a lot to East High, trials and tribulations, but all of our administrators handle everything thrown at them with such grace and genuine care for the students. We are so grateful for everything that you all do to keep this school not just running, but thriving!.

Now, let69制片厂制作传媒檚 start out this week69制片厂制作传媒檚 news by reconizing some of our amazing students: Jason Lopez, Brian Rojas, and Ella Wampler!

Jason and Brian both received Mason Apprentice scholarships $1500 worth of masonry tools and merch that they can use for their upcoming SkillsUSA competition, and during Wednesday69制片厂制作传媒檚 basketball game, Ella Wampler was announced to have broken the record for the 69制片厂制作传媒淢ost rebounds in East High History69制片厂制作传媒�! Congratulations to all three of these amazingly talented individuals!

Speaking of the basketball team, Basketball Senior Night was Wednesday night against Elizabethton. Before both the boys69制片厂制作传媒� and girls69制片厂制作传媒� teams won their games (Go Hurricanes!!!), the senior basketball, cheer, swimming, and wrestlers were recognized for their achievements, coming onto the floor with their parents and receiving gifts.

Did you miss the homecoming dress-up days? Don69制片厂制作传媒檛 worry! Next week is FFA Week, to celebrate where your food and fiber come from.

Tuesday: FFA DAY- wear your blue and gold

Wednesday: USA DAY- Wear your red, white, and blue.

Thursday- GONE HUNTING- Wear your orange and camo

Friday- COUNTRY V. COUNTRY CLUB- Wear your flannels and polos.

Completely off topic from dress up days, auditions for the one-act comedy murder mystery play 69制片厂制作传媒淓mployees Must Wash Hands...Before Murder69制片厂制作传媒� by Don Zolidis will be on February 21st and 24th. It69制片厂制作传媒檚 will be taken to a competition, and if the group wins 1st place at the state level, students will get their pictures on the Fine Arts Wall of Fame and will be eligible to graduate with distinction as long as they also have a 3.0+ GPA at the end of their senior year. Mrs. Wexler is also searching for someone to help run sound/lights. So stop by Mrs. Wexler69制片厂制作传媒檚 room or email her as soon as you can!
