The Mountain Makins Festival is announcing the 48th annual Preview Party, a special event that kicks off the weekend-long celebration of Appalachian culture at historic Rose Center.
The Preview Party sponsored by Tarr Chevrolet/Hyundai will take place on Friday, October 25th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at Rose Center.
Tickets for the Preview Party are $35 and include heavy hors d69制片厂制作传媒檕euvres served by Rose Service Guild, wine, and a live performance by Denny Hawk.
Tickets will also include entry to the showcase of crafts, early purchases of select crafts, and weekend admission to the Mountain Makins Festival on Saturday, October 26th, and Sunday, October 27th.
The Mountain Makins Festival will feature 50 juried artisans, 17 folklife demonstrators, award-winning dancers, regional authors, storytelling, live music on two stages, a showcase of crafts, children69制片厂制作传媒檚 activities, and delicious food.
Festival hours on Saturday, October 26th are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday69制片厂制作传媒檚 hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Weekend festival tickets are $15, adult day passes are $10, and children 12 and under are free thanks to sponsorship by Visions By Vicki.
Rose Center, located at 442 W 2nd North Street in Morristown, is a nonprofit arts organization hosting classes, concerts, a professional art gallery, a local artists’ shop, and business and party rentals.
