Dale Livesay, age 89, of Bean Station, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
He was a Navy Veteran having served in Okinawa and Texas. He was a faithful member of Barnard's Grove Baptist Church where he was taken as a child. Dale volunteered at the Daily Bread Community Kitchen for many years. He was also a bluegrass gospel fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Tip and Ethel Livesay, son; Rev. Lance Livesay; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Dale is survived by his wife and best friend of 61 years, Bessie Mae Sliger Livesay. Daughter: Sandy (Rob) Thomas; 4 precious grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Katie, Hayden, Gracie and Annie. Brothers: Don Livesay and Chuck (Myrna) Livesay; sister: Lois Trent and many friends.
Receiving of friends will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral 69制片厂制作传媒.
The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice and Jefferson Health and Rehab Center for all of their care they provided.
