Description:

Specific duties performed by the incumbent will vary depending upon the facility and/or department within the Company.

• Daily, receives assigned work orders to complete on equipment
• Performs scheduled PMs and visually inspects and test machinery and equipment for proper functionality
• Performs repairs on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction is detected. May discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair the machine
• Conduct diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units
• Conduct diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic components of equipment and machines
• Performs machine installations/moves and building maintenance task as needed
• Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
• Ensures an elevated level of safety is always adhered to on and off the production floor
• Must promote teamwork by assisting in all areas as needs arise or as directed

Educational Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED
• Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 lbs.
• At least 2-3 years of electrical/or mechanical experience required
